Future Considerations celebrates the month of March

There's something about this month.

The weather starts to get warmer. You can actually smell spring coming (and you all know exactly what I'm talking about. At least, all of you who have lived in a temperate climate and have actually gotten to experience the changing of the seasons).

A 6'5", 260 pound man roams the outfield in Bradenton. A 27-year-old Nigerian rookie stymies Grapefruit League hitters with pinpoint precision and deceiving release points. We receive affirmation on why a certain hero is the coolest guy in baseball.

And, of course, there's still some indoor sports being played. I've always immensely enjoyed the fact that the NCAA Championship Game is always either on the same day or just a couple days apart from the Major League Baseball season opener. The most exciting American sports tournament climaxing at almost the exact same moment as new hope is born for baseball fans all over the country.

People give March a lot of grief because the weather usually sucks. It's either cold, or it's rainy. Sometimes it's both. But March, do know that there are people out there who appreciate you.
