Albert Pujols: Whenever he talks, I laugh

I don't want to make too big a deal of this, both because it could probably be conceived as biased and because I really don't care about the awards. But, every time Albert Pujols opens his mouth now, I just have to laugh.

This on the heels of saying Glavine's stuff was bad after Game 1 of the NLCS. Albert's clearly a guy who takes himself very seriously, but I feel at this point I should point out some detailed and relevant statistical evidence:

See Albert, while you were busy playing the Pirates and Royals and Cubs about 50 times this year, the Phillies, playing against tougher competition, somehow managed to win more games than you. Now, it's not really the Phillies phault that while you were busy eating the saltlick of bitter cuntishness from Tony La Russa's hand, they went out and won more games than you. Maybe instead of crying about not getting the award (God knows you praised Barry Bonds all those times you lost to him), you should have been on a team that didn't start Sidney Ponson 20 times. In fact, one could argue that your shitty 83 win team kind of stole their playoff spot unjustly, since you know, your team kind of blew, while theirs blew slightly less.

You'd think stealing unjustly winning Scott Speizio's tickler winning the World Series would humble someone. What a cunt.
